Biggest Thanksgiving Travel in Years
The number of Americans traveling for Thanksgiving this year is expected to reach its highest level in over a decade. According to AAA, nearly 55 million people will be taking to the roads, skies, and rails over the holiday weekend. This represents a 1.5% increase from last year and the largest number of Thanksgiving travelers since 2005. The surge in travel is being attributed to several factors, including a strong economy, low gas prices, and a desire to spend time with family and friends after the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.
